Vonka is being held prisoner and is being kept in suspension. With no way to touch the floor, she can't possibly get to the bathroom when she needs to pee, so she is forced to ask her captor to let her down for relief. That works out the first time, when she manages to hold it while he frees her. He even makes her take off her clothes before he will let her go, but despite it all, she gets to the toilet in time. When he puts her back in suspension in his basement, however, it's a different situation. Now she is left alone, and when she needs to pee she has no choice other than to wet herself.
