TEASER

Lee is arriving home from work after a long day, badly needing to pee. Expecting immediate relief, she rushes to the bathroom only to discover that a plumber is inside working on her toilet. She had arranged for this repair but was told the work would be done the following day. She politely asks the plumber how long he expects to be repairing the toilet, and he tells her it may take another twenty minutes. Lee tries not to show her anxiety as she walks away into the living room. She sits down and removes her heels, and even this simple act puts more pressure on her bladder. How is she going to hold it for another twenty minutes? She paces and wiggles her legs, trying to remain calm. She goes to see how the plumber is getting on, but he still needs more time. Lee resumes alternately pacing and crossing her legs, bending forward to ease the pressure on her bladder. She suddenly realizes she could go out the back door of the house and pee in the yard, except, when she opens the door, she sees that he neighbor is mowing his grab, and she would be fully in his line of sight. She curses and closes the door, frantic to piss now. She talks to the plumber once more, who says he is getting on faster than expected and he only needs a few more minutes. Lee goes back to the living, struggling to control herself. Suddenly, she declares that she can’t hold it any longer and runs into the kitchen where she loses control on the hardwood floor. She stand there letting pee stream down her legs, the relief enormous. She has barely finished when the plumber enters the room. Mortified, Lee grabs an empty water bottle off the counter and pretends that she has just spilled its contents on the floor.
